On New Years day we took the short trip down to beautiful Big Sur. Unfortunately, a lot of the trails are closed right now due to the
big fire over the summer which brought weeks of smoky skies all the way to Monterey. After a short and easy stroll we reached the cliffs at Julia Pfeiffer State Park. Donny, Woody and I enjoyed the breathtaking vistas that people come from all over the world to glimpse. It was warm and sunny as you can see and the view was amazing. After this we stopped at one of our favorite places, the Big Sur River Inn where we had a picnic by the river.
